B2B sales are when a business sells to other businesses. In other words, B2B sales are sales made to businesses for products or services that are intended for use by other businesses. These products include software, technology, equipment, and any other one-time high-ticket or recurring payment items.
Given the nature of B2B sales, they tend to have a different buyer-driven and seller-driven mentality than B2C sales. As such, they require a different approach to marketing and sales management.
B2B buyers tend to have more stringent requirements for product quality and reliability than B2C buyers, which can slow down the sales cycle and require additional marketing efforts.
B2B buyers are more likely to have stricter standards when buying products or services that will be used in their business or workplace.
