What is the average income from Affiliate Marketing in India?
I'm guessing you already know what Affiliate Marketing is, but in case you don't, here's what it means:
Affiliate Marketing is promoting other person’s or other company’s or other businesses products or services to your market or audience or friends or followers or family or visitors (in general to anyone) and if someone purchases or buys through your referral link or affiliate link, then you earn a commission on each sale, which varies business to business (affiliate programs).
In the post-pandemic age, the trend to learn and profit from Affiliate Marketing is progressively expanding. People are looking into Affiliate Marketing as a way to make extra money, part-time income, or passive revenue. The hard times have led more people to supplement their income, at least partially, and as a result, this type of online business is gaining popularity. In reality, most social media groups are flooded with messages on Affiliate Marketing and related promotions. This suggests that there is a huge market for this sort of opportunity in India, and the majority of social media millennials are taking advantage of the possibility to work and earn from Affiliate Marketing.
Even before the pandemic, affiliate marketing existed, but the aggressive push and advertisements were noticeable during and after the outbreak.

What is the average income from Affiliate Marketing in India?
Finally, when it comes to earning potential, the typical average income from Affiliate Marketing in India is as follows (this is based on my personal research, observations across the internet resources and social media platforms including discussions with other affiliates whom I have come across and findings from webinars for the last 1-1.5 years) and this should be viewed as an informational purpose only:
Beginner: Around Rs.2,000-6,000/- per month (you may not make any money for the first few months and you should be mentally prepared for this!)
Intermediate: Around Rs.4000 – 10000/- per month.
Experienced: Around Rs.10000 – 35000/- per month.
Note: If you have your own network or following or an e-mail list, your earning potential will be higher in all the above cases.
Some people have made much more than Rs.50,000 per month on some occasions (I would say very few successful affiliates who have been working for the last few years consistently are able to do so). However, earning potential is determined by one's own efforts. There are no guarantees as long as they are pursued with dedication, hard work, and commitment.
Working in Affiliate Marketing should be viewed as a side business, part-time self-employment, or part-time home business in India, and you should not make the decision to quit your current job and focus on this (unless you're making enough money to satisfy your monthly obligations! which may occur in the future if you remain dedicated to working). You can use your extra or free time to earn income by engaging in Affiliate Marketing activities after your regular day work or post office hours or as per your work schedule and plans.

If you want to work in Affiliate Marketing, keep the following considerations in mind:
This is not a get-rich system.
This is suitable as a side hustle or part-time online business or part-time home job.
Basic English is good to start. Of course, you can communicate with prospects or potential customers in your native language to build relationships and trust if you are able to talk to them personally or on the phone call.
A positive mindset and a strong commitment to work are essential. I've heard from a few successful affiliates that 6-7 out of every ten affiliates will quit early due to various reasons.
You need to have a dedicated work schedule.
Personal branding becomes an important aspect of your ability to generate more money. Simply said, if someone wants to trust you enough to purchase through your referral or affiliate link so that you may earn rewards, you need to develop a trust and confidence factor among those people.
Even if you can work from your smartphone in India, a desktop PC/Laptop with an internet connection is best recommended from a long-term perspective (if you are serious about working for years).
Don't work in this domain unless you've had some basic training or have trained knowledge about it. I've heard from a few successful affiliates that 4-5 out of every ten affiliates are working without undergoing the basic training or knowledge about Affiliate Marketing and end up with poor results or doing mistakes and this is one of the factors to quitting early.
